Spring is heating up!
The beta version is out!
As the weather turns warmer, I’m getting really excited about the release of my first novel. My beta readers are returning a very positive response, and the book is really starting to come together. The next steps I’ll be tackling are finalizing the title, writing the blurbs and soliciting reviews, choosing a cover design, final edits, and selecting the Amazon keywords and categories.
After that, it’s time to publish!
There are three areas where I’d like to ask for your help.
First, I need reader input regarding the title. Once I have it narrowed down to a couple of choices, I’d like to put it up for your vote. Will you help me with this? Watch for the special email and share your opinion.
Second, when the book comes out, I’m aiming to release it at an introductory price, either 99 cents or free, if I can work that out. Will you buy a copy and read it? My betas tell me it’s suspenseful, fast-paced, and a lot of fun to read. Will you read it, and if you like it, post a good review for me on Amazon? Reviews are critical for getting the book out to more readers. Please help me with this!
Third, will you help me get the word out? Share my website address, joslynchase.com, and my signup page with your friends and social media groups. I believe my book not only provides a wild and entertaining ride, but contains useful and important information and resources, as well. I aim to deliver value and benefits to my readers. Another story accepted for publication!
I just received an email that starts like this: Thank you for sending us “Lowering The Boom”. We love it and would like to publish it in the next issue of The Fable Online. It is slated to release on June 1, 2017.
So, watch for that one. The story started as a magazine prompt for the Writer’s Weekly 24-hour contest. It won an honorable mention there before I submitted it to The Fable Online.
