This is exciting!

I can’t wait for my readers to get my new book and plunge into the world of Riley Forte. I hope you love her, because this is just the first in a series of Riley Forte thrillers. Best-selling writer Dean Wesley Smith has been helping me with the back cover blurb. Here’s what we’ve come up with:

With the death of her husband and son, concert pianist Riley Forte’s life and career shattered. Her comeback performance bombs, her sponsor pulls out, and she faces the tattered ruins of a once-happy life.

When Mt. Rainier erupts, isolating her in a small community stalked by a serial killer, it seems like the end of everything, but it brings a new chance for Riley.

If she can evade the clutches of a dedicated killer.

In a riveting action story filled with breathtaking suspense, Riley fights to hang on to the one thing she has left—her life, and the one thing she needs to turn it around—redemption.

Want to see your name on the Acknowledgments page of my book?

I’m still looking for a sizzling and appropriate tagline to go on the cover. I’ve considered “Catastrophic and gripping!” or “Like a hot-lava rush to the head!” but I’m not altogether sold on either. Which one do you like better? Or, if you have a super suggestion, click on the link below and share the brilliance! I’d love to get some reader input and if I use your idea, I’ll credit you in print in the pages of my book!

Here’s what else is going on.

I’ve found a cover designer whose work is fantastic and I’m trying to engage his services. This is proving more difficult than I imagined, but it’s all part of the challenge. The manuscript is back from the proofreader and I’ve still got the final edit to get through. Then, making sure everything goes together and all the boxes checked off to get this baby out on time!

Follow me on Amazon and get direct updates.

Go to my Author Page on Amazon, where you can see all my books, all my blog posts, and my author bio in one smart place. Click ‘Follow’ and Amazon will keep you updated on deals and any new books I put out. It’s a good thing!

Time it right, and you can get the book for FREE!

Mark your calendars for July 17th because I think I’ll be able to swing a deal where the book is FREE for the first three days or so. My fondest dream is that my readers will snag a copy, read it, love it, and leave a review. I NEED REVIEWS! Reviews are so important for keeping a book alive. Without them, the book quickly drops to the bottom of the Amazon ocean.

Joslyn Chase is gearing up for a summer splash!

Gearing up for the summer splash!

Smashwords recently interviewed me and published the interview on their site. Check it out!

And please tell your friends about my book release and make sure to add my book to your summer reading list. It should be a fun ride!
